I find it interesting that taking a selfie is so frowned upon and stigmatized, yet when artists painted themselves there was none of it. We are trying to capture ourselves as we see ourselves, or as we wish other’s to perceive us. To create our own truth. How do you see yourself? How do you express yourself?
